In the early hours of Wednesday the 13th of November, the newest batch of Gambian students arrived in the kingdom of Morocco to pursue their tertiary education.
These students were welcomed by the Gambia Students' Association in Morocco and Her Excellency Ambassador Saffie Lowe, Ambassador of the Republic of The Gambia in Morocco and her entourage.
These students numbering 41 were awarded scholarships by MOHERST and the Moroccan Agency for International Cooperation to study courses on different disciplines that makeup the science, commerce and Arts field.
These students were welcomed to a breakfast and a quick orientation of what to expect before been escorted to the market by GASAM later that evening to buy them sim cards, and other basic needs like food.
These students in the upcoming one year will be learning French Language before they are integrated into the Moroccan Universitis to pursue their dream courses.
In the upcoming days, the association will help them register to AMCi as well as the language school.
